SCO 505、SOC 504 最小補丁集注釋

SCO OpenServer 安裝規范
目前，SCO的主頁經常變化，最小補丁集和各個補丁的版本頻繁更新，以下的內容截止到1999年10月7日。
SCO OpenServer針對不同的版本有很多補丁包，但對每個版本有一個最小補丁集，如下所述：
SCO OpenServer 5.0.5

Release Supplement 505A：Fixes and enhancements for SCO OpenServer 5.0.5
oss471c：Intel Pentium Pro and Pentium II Microcode Driver
oss600a：Year 2000 supplement for SCO OpenServer 5.0.5(requires prior installation of RS5.0.5A)
oss497b：Core OS Supplement for SCO OpenServer Release 5.0.5
其中，oss497b已升級到oss497c。
安裝順序嚴格按照以下所述：
RS505A -> oss497c -> oss471c -> oss600a
如果CPU非Intel Pentium Pro & Pentium II，則oss471c無需安裝。

SCO OpenServer 5.0.4
Oss601a：Year 2000 supplement for SCO OpenServer 5.0.2/5.0.4
Release Supplement 504C：Supercedes OpenServer Release Supplement 5.0.4A and 5.0.4B; includes OSS449F
Oss471c：Intel Pentium Pro & Pentium II microcode Supplement
NOTE：OSS471C is only for use with intel P6 systems running SCO OpenServer 5.0.5(RS504C must be installed first.)
Oss469c：Networking and SMP Supplement – Corrects networking problems and specific multi-processor system issues.

安裝順序嚴格按照以下所述：
RS504C -> oss469c -> oss471c -> oss601a
如果CPU非Intel Pentium Pro & Pentium II，則oss471c無需安裝。
注意：
?; 如果要安裝DS和SMP，則安裝順序如下：
OS -> SMP -> DS -> 以上所述的補丁包順序
?; 如果更新某一補丁包或安裝DS等情況，需要反向刪除補丁包，安裝或更新后，再重新按以上順序安裝補丁包。
舉例如下（要將oss497b換為oss497c）：
現有系統：
1. OS
2. SMP
3. DS
4. RS505A
5. Oss497b
6. Oss600a
所做步驟：
1. 刪除oss600a
2. 刪除oss497b
3. 安裝oss497c
4. 安裝oss600a
